All ‘globe’ photos are CGI—NASA is faking it.

Quick reality-check: Multiple space agencies (NASA, ESA, JAXA, ISRO, CNSA) and even amateur CubeSats livestream full-disk imagery. Independent weather satellites like GOES or Himawari broadcast real-time colour globes every ten minutes—far beyond any single agency’s control.

Why is this claim made?
The claim is rooted in distrust of large institutions and a misunderstanding of how satellite imagery is produced and verified. It is bolstered by the fact that some images are composites, which is openly documented by space agencies.
Why the claim doesn’t work
Multiple independent satellites from different countries, as well as live feeds from weather satellites, provide real-time images of Earth. These can be compared with local weather and are impossible to fake globally.
Evidence against the claim
  • Live feeds from Himawari-8, GOES, and Meteosat satellites match real-time weather patterns worldwide.
  • CubeSats and amateur satellites have also captured full-disk images of Earth.
  • Composite images are transparently documented and explained by agencies.
At home: Compare your local cloud cover with the time-stamped Himawari-8 image; they match because it’s a live photograph of the whole hemisphere.
Summary
The claim ignores the global, transparent, and multi-agency nature of satellite imaging. Weather, amateur, and agency satellites all corroborate the globe’s reality.
